Sabina Romanin, Italy

After graduating in Literature and Foreign Languages at the University of Ca’ Foscari, I qualified in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and attended the Faculty of Art at the University of Plymouth (U.K.) on an Erasmus project. I started as an engraver, ranging from traditional techniques to xylography and serigraphy. Recently I have been practising textile art, thus extending my field of research into experimenting artist's books and visual poetry, installations and performances, co-operations with designers, mail art, etc.

Since 1995, I have participated in many exhibitions, at home and abroad. My works are in private and public collections, such as the Albornoz/Tulli contemporary art center (Spoleto, Italy), the Public Library (Pordenone), Prandina outlet (Schio) etc. I have held courses in public schools and institutions.

I live and work in Pordenone, via G. Cantore 21.
